Enfocement Authority
All members of the Ethics Committee, regardless of Bureau, receive installation enforcement authority on all civilian and combative faculty alike. However, Agents are to be regulated through committee policy on their boundaries with combative faculty, and appropriate charges which may be issued.
The Ethics Committee has the authority to detain, arrest, and interview individuals suspected of committing an offence against the Code of Ethics. They may hold a suspect for 20 minutes - this may be extended by a Senior Enforcement Agent upon request. Individuals awaiting a Emergency Class-E Suspension may be held for an indefinite amount of time, until the suspension has been filed.
The Ethics Committee is expected to enforce the Code of Ethics, and it’s policies, to an acceptable degree, however they may deviate and provide lenient or harsher sentences depending on the circumstances. The Committee is also expected to refrain from obstructing installation operations, specifically critical operations relating to the installation stability, while enforcing the Code of Ethics. This may be breached in the event of an emergency - however the Agent will be held accountable for any misconduct or unlawful damages.
warning NOTICE
Members of the Ethics Committee are not expected to provide a Supervisor upon request, however they may choose to do so if they believe an issue has arose.
